In a bomb blast, a square metre of glass can produce up to 1,800 razor sharp fragments. These flying glass shards cause more damage, injury and death than the explosion itself. AGT Anti-Shatter Films protect Embassies, Government, United Nations, Corporate and Commercial buildings across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the UK.
Our anti-shatter and blast mitigation film safeguards your business, property, employees and members of the public, providing protection from flying glass in the event of a natural disaster, civil disturbance or bomb blast,
A clear glass containment film, it can be fitted to all areas of a building, offering an immediate and cost-effective retro-fit solution. For higher risk environments and overhead glazing, anchoring and edge protection systems can be added.
Additional Benefits
Forms an almost invisible protective coating on the glass surface. Powerful pressure sensitive adhesives bind glass shards together on breakage. Anti-shatter film also provides additional security on what is called the “Achilles Heel” of a building (Glass), by delaying or indeed preventing entry via breaking the glass!
Edge Retention/Anchoring systems.
AGT offer a range of edge retention and glass anchoring systems which, when used in conjunction with our anti-shatter and bomb blast films offer additional protection against flying or falling glass.
Combining the strength and elasticity of our anti-shatter glass containment film with an edge retention or anchoring system, significantly increases the safety and security in buildings where additional bomb blast protection is required and on overhead glass installations.
